Lubna Habib

As a painter, Lubna Habib has always been captivated by the interplay between memory, imagination, and the vibrant energy that always surrounds us. Her work serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration, beckoning viewers to rediscover the beauty in both familiar and unexplored territories.

She did her Post Graduation from the Department of Fine Arts, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh and has been active in the art community. Parallel to her job, she has done two solo art exhibitions, one trio exhibition, and countless group exhibitions over the past many years. Her paintings can be found in the personal collections of people located in various parts of the world.

Hasna Hena Porosh

Hasna Hena Porosh is born and brought up in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

She Completed her study on Painting from the University of Chittagong at 2003.

Now she works as an Art techer in a School. Besides her fulltime job she now mostly involved with the performance Art practice from 2010.

She perticipated in NIPAP Asia on 2010 at Japan and various Performance event in Bangladesh till now.

She loves to work with new media and materials, such as installation, print etc.

Her work subjects are mostly related with nature and life.

Umme Habiba sumi

Born and raised in Chittagong, one of the beautiful city of Bangladesh. I am a passionate freelance artist and did my Post Graduation from Chittagong University, Bangladesh with a major in painting and I carved a unique niche for myself in the world of visual arts.

I have worked in almost every medium of art, participated in various art exhibitions and workshops at home and abroad, also associated with various cultural organizations.

Besides, I am working as a graphic designer in my career.

Being an artist, I get thousands of inspirations from my daily life. The light and shadows of nature, rafts of clouds, kites in the sky, rhythm of rain always amaze me and makes my life colorful. I consider myself a lucky person living in the world of colors.

I have been working on traditional rickshaw painting of Bangladesh nowadays. The various types of bright colors, design and themes that usually used in the rickshaw fascinates me and makes me emotional. Here I am with my works based on rickshaw and wishing you all a very colorful life.

Dr. Sima Islam

I am Dr Sima Islam, presently working as Associate Professor of the Department of Graphic Design in the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka. I am also an Assistant Proctor of the Proctorial body of the University of Dhaka.

I am an academic faculty & consultant for graphic design by profession, and an artist by passion.

I have been exhibiting my artwork for more than 20 years and have participated in numerous art exhibitions ranging from local, national to international level. I have also participated in various workshops and recently I have been accepted in the full-funded Artist-in-Residence program in Pike Road Arts Center, Alabama, USA. I have also received national and international awards for my artwork. I have written and contributed to various journal articles on arts and craft, participating in painting workshops and attended various national and international conferences. I have also worked in a World Bank project as graphic design consultant.

I am a nature lover with a profound spirit in expressing nature through colours. I have been working with various media like acrylic, water colour, oil colour and mixed media; however, I love to work with acrylic media.

Nasrin Akter Nila

I am Nasrin Aktar Nila, Born in Chittagong, Bangladesh. I hold a B.F.A. pre-degree from the Government Art College in Chittagong .

As a freelance artist, I balance my artistic career with my roles as a mother of two lovely children and a wife to a supportive husband. My family truly appreciates my journey as an artist, and at this stage in my life, I am passionate about expressing my personal experiences and reflections through my paintings. Over the past two years, I have been dedicated to developing a theme-based series of paintings titled "ENVELOPE." This series allows me to delve into my inner self and convey my thoughts on life, aiming to create a meaningful connection with my audience.

My journey as an artist has been shaped by numerous exhibitions, where I have had the opportunity to grow and share my work with others. Through my art, I strive to share a piece of my soul and invite viewers to engage with my perspective on life.

I have also participated in various specialised workshops and art camps throughout my career, and worked professionally as an art teacher hoping to instill the joy of art in future generations.

Kaushar Parvin Dalia

My name is Dalia. I was born and raised in Chittagong city of Bangladesh. I have completed my Honors and Masters from Fine Arts Department of Chittagong University. Staying true to my artistic motivations and my immense love for children has been my greatest driving force behind me running a drawing school for children. I am very keen to explore the relationship between people and nature and hence, the main theme of most of my pictures are nature amidst diverse human activities.

I try my best to portray nostalgia in my pictures as most subjects of my pictures are from my childhood, chats around me, things I like and stories of loves. I find motivation in the memories I lost in my life and the things that happen every day in my life. In terms of color, I prefer bright colors as the conversational theme of my pictures inspires me and infuses me with strength.

Sunipa Islam

I am Sunipa a girl from Bangladesh. I studied fine arts and am currently a freelance artist. I have attended many renound art exhibition arranged by Shilpokola Academy, Alliance Francis and Berger art exhibition etc. Added to this I have attended a few workshop such as for water colour and portrait and even art camps. Currently, I am a teacher and love to teach my student.

The natural beauty of Bangladesh has always mesmerized me. The blend of women and culture fulfils the world's aspirations, and this beautiful Bengal, I see my own reflection as a women.

The experience of my life and nature are vividly illuminated . My art work embies a practical form of aesthetics. May women and nature float with the proper mellifluous feeling. May the world and all living beings prosper .

Shadia Shamim Monsur

I am Shadia Shamim Monsur living in Bangladesh. Drawing is my shadow companion growing up. My pursuit is to immerse myself in the joy of painting. I love to draw pictures with human expression, nature, and fantasy. The time for human-to-human conversation may not be given in the coming days. People will share their loneliness with a fosterling.

The conversation will be with the trees, the river, the sky, and the rainwater ect. However, no matter how much we become mechanical, we have to breathe life into nature. These all thoughts are the subject of my canvas again and again. I'm comfortable painting in acrylics, but oils have always been my favorite.

I have done BFA and MFA in Painting from Chittagong University, Bangladesh. Currently, I am engaged in the teaching profession.

Taslima Akther Mishu

I am Taslima Akther 42 years old a Bangladeshi Freelance Artist,a Mother and a Home Maker. From the very childhood my inner aspiration of drawing national, international personalities ending up in adopting Fine Arts as my ultimate wish.I completed B.F.A. in Graphic Arts ,and M.F.A in Painting from Chittagong University in Chittagong.After my graduation I worked for 2 years as a Art Teacher in a Primary School.To me ,art is like a prayer from the artist's heart.During my post graduation period,I was inspired and encouraged by my Professor Monsur Ul Karim who was my maintor.I was inspired by Fauvism and Surrealism arts. I use joyful symbolic shades of liquid bright colours from Fauvism with semi abstract dreamy effects as well as surrealistic fantasy in capitulating time, reflecting ups and downs of our life.End of the day,I want the observer seeing my paintings will come away with feeling light over dark, good over bad.

My exhibition and workshop journey was starting 2002 where I have participated in all the exhibition of oil acrylic, graphic, decorative, watercolour arts etc ,while I was a student in university. Then I participated in Berger, Young, National, Asian, Young Female Artist of Bangladesh, Contemporary Young Artists Exhibition in Japan.I have participated in all University Workshop and Manan Art Workshop also. After long ten years having concentrating on raising my family, I have come back to my real ambition of painting.

Amidst the urban hustle, I find a sense of solace and inspiration within the confines of my home and through my creative work. My art reflects this duality, capturing the essence of Dhaka's dynamic spirit while also offering glimpses of personal tranquility. The constant interplay between tradition and modernity, local and global perspectives, is a recurring theme in my work, allowing me to explore and express the diverse facets of my identity.

Karishma Daby Moni

My name is Karishma Daby Moni, and I'm from a small town in the Sunamganj district of Sylhet division in Bangladesh. My mother introduced me to art and artists, and I began my art journey by painting the idol of Goddess Kali Maa.

I am currently pursuing my graduation at the University of Development Alternative in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I love mixing colors and cotton and am passionate about using oil paint, acrylic, charcoal, and watercolor. Abstract art is my favorite because it allows me to express myself freely without obstacles. This freedom is reflected in my canvases.

TAHIA TASNIM

Tahia Tasnim belonging from the People’s Republic of Bangladesh pursues her childhood passion i.e. painting. She has born and brought up in such a place where the surrounding is filled with vast greeneries and eye catching landscapes. Being surrounded by nature, her artistic vision has greatly influenced which gets reflected in her major art works where colours of nature and shades of light synchronized. She used to produce all of her artworks traditionally with acrylic. She is passionate about murals, abstract and landscape painting. Her work serves as a beckon of inspiration by inviting viewers to cherishing the present, beauty of nature, multi-texture blend of light and shadow.

Through her use of vibrant colors and dynamic compositions, she invites viewers to explore the depths of their own emotions and perceptions. She is also enthusiast about creation of miniatures with polymer clay.
